Work Habits

Work habits will be assessed using the following grading scale:

3: Follows the Fairmount Mission and meets the expectations for being safe, respectful, and  responsible, engaging in learning and participating.

2: Progressing toward following the Fairmount Mission and mostly meets the expectations for being safe, respectful, and responsible, engaging in learning and participating.

2: Struggling toward following the Fairmount Mission and does not meet the expectations for being safe, respectful, and responsible, not engaging in learning and participating.

Concepts

Students will be assessed on their knowledge of the content using the following grading scale:

3: Student knows and understands musical concepts.

2: Student is progressing toward knowing and understanding musical concepts.

1: Student does not know and understand musical concepts.

Performance Skills

Students will be assessed on their ability to perform musical skills using the follow grading scale:

3: Student meets the expectations for performing a musical skill.

2: Student is progressing toward meeting the expectations for performing a musical skill.

1: Student does not meet the expectations for performing a musical skill.
