Singing and Instrument Expectations

1. Red Light/Green Light

2. Resting, Ready, and Playing Positions for barred instruments, ukulele, and recorder

3. Proper technique

   2. Barred Instruments

      1. Lift bars off with 2 hands (helicopter, not airplane)

      2. Play on the bar’s “belly”

      3. Use 2 mallets to play, alternating hands

      3. Articulation (think “lizard tongue” not “puffer fish”)
